We are a local Education Center serving the Brownsville, Texas area. Our tutors are up to date on the latest curriculum and technologies being used in today’s schools. We will use this knowledge to work with your child, crafting interactive and engaging lessons that will focus on each student’s specific needs and learning style and will foster a love of learning.

Services Available
Initial consultation
A free initial 30 minute consultation will allow you to communicate the areas of study you'd like to focus on and will allow us to get to know your learning style and unique needs so we can create your custom tutoring plan.
One-on-One
Book your hour long tutoring sessions weekly or as needed. Your interactive learning time will be tailored to your specific needs and will be engaging and enjoyable. Sessions are typically held at our location. See below for the exact address.
Small Group Sessions
Our highly qualified and experienced tutor will provide top-notch assistance in:
- Kindergarten - 8th grade
- Math, Science, English, History
- Learning to read, spelling, comprehension
- Homework help and test preparation

Summer Camp 2024

OVERVIEW
At Mindful Scholars, our mission is to provide a summer of fun STEM and Art camps for the children in the Rio Grand Valley area. Our camps have small groups that offer fun and collaborative activities for your child that allow amazing socialization opportunities with kids alike. Let us partner with you to give your child an unforgettable summer experience.
GOALS
- Introduce and emphasize to children ages 4-8 the importance of teamwork, learning, following rules, and making new friends.
- Provide students with enrichment activities they can participate and thrive in.
- Have fun!
Daily Camp Schedule
7:30 - 9:00 am - Pre-care/Breakfast
Start the day a little early at pre-care every day at camp. Students will work on daily word puzzles and warm up activities. Students have a quick breakfast (brought from home), before starting their day with a warm up.
9:30 - 10:30 am - Camp Specific Activity
Students dive into the camp's first themed activity for the day. Instructors and activities will spark creativity, movement, and critical thinking.
10:30 - 11:15 am - Snack Time
Students are encouraged to bring a light and nutritious snack to refuel and continue their day.
11:15 - 12:15 pm - Camp Specific Activity
Students dive into the camp’s second themed activity for the day. Instructors and activities will spark creativity, movement, and critical thinking.
12:15 - 1:00 pm - Lunch Time
Students are encouraged to bring a nutritious meal to refuel and continue their day.
1:00 - 2:00 pm - Camper Choice Activity
Outdoor time gives campers an opportunity to blow off some steam. This is a great way to get energized before the next fun-filled activity inside.
2:00 - 2:45 pm - Camp Specific Activity
Students dive into the camp’s third themed activity for the day. Instructors and activities will spark creativity, movement, and critical thinking.
2:45 - 3:00 pm - Project Sharing and Cleanup
Campers showcase their skills and projects at the end of the day. Here, they talk about their activities and experiences that day. Campers say goodbye to their friends and get ready to head home.
3:00 - 5:00 pm - Post-care/Extended Day
Day camp ends. Two-hour extended care begins at this time.
